Man carrying sword, dressed as joker arrested in Virginia

Police officials in Winchester, Virginia have arrested a 31-year-old sword-wielding man on Friday, who was dressed as batman’s nemesis, Joker, according to the Washington Post. At around 2 p.m. on March 24, officers responded to a 911 call about a suspicious man, who authorities identified as Jeremy Putman, carrying a sword and dressed up as the comic book villain, Joker, walking along Papermill Road and South Pleasant Valley Road.
